THE ORTHODONTISTS

Specialising in orthodontics for patients of all ages and stages of life, the Riccarton Orthodontic Practice is technologically progressive with a family-oriented focus.

All three orthodontists are full members of the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists, the New Zealand Dental Association and the World Federation of Orthodontists.

DR PETER FOWLER

Dr Peter Fowler founded the Riccarton Orthodontic Practice in 1992.  After gaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago, Dr Fowler went on to pursue a specialist Masters degree in Orthodontics from at the University of London, as well as a Diploma and Member of Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons and a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialty of Orthodontics.

DR MARGUERITE CROOKS

Dr Marguerite Crooks joined the Riccarton Orthodontic Practice in 1996.  Dr Crooks gained a Bachelor of Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Bachelor of Physical Education at the University of Otago.  After practicing Dentistry she went on to obtain a specialist Masters degree in Orthodontics also from the University of Otago.

DR RUSSELL LOVATT

Dr Russell Lovatt joined the Riccarton Orthodontic Practice in 1998. Dr Lovatt gained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago and went onto obtain his specialist Masters degree in Orthodontics from the University of Western Australia.
